ISO STANDARDS ARE INTERNATIONALLY AGREED BY EXPERTS
Think of them as a formula that describes the best way of doing something.
It could be about making a product, managing a process, delivering a service or supplying materials – standards cover a huge range of activities.
Standards are the distilled wisdom of people with expertise in their subject matter and who know the needs of the organizations they represent – people such as manufacturers, sellers, buyers, customers, trade associations, users or regulators.

ISO 9001 Quality Management System
It is a standard that can ensure that a product meets the expectations and needs of its customers in every process from the production or service delivery to the place where it reaches the customer. By establishing an
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, you take the first step towards establishing and developing working principles in your organization.
The ISO 9000 Quality Standards Series is a set of standards published by the International Standards Organization (ISO) that guides organizations in establishing and developing a Quality Management System to increase customer satisfaction. ISO 9001 is the standard that defines the conditions to be applied during the establishment of the Quality Management System and forms the basis for certification. However, there are also guiding standards published by the International Standards Organization (ISO).
ISO 9001 and the guiding standards are referred to as the ISO 9000 series.
The following ISO 9000 standard series has been developed for organizations of all types and sizes to establish and implement an effective Quality Management System.
ISO 14001 Environment Management System
ISO 14001:2015 expects organizations to identify and evaluate the environmental impacts of their activities, products and services, to control their significant impacts, to carry out anti-pollution activities and to continuously improve their environmental performance. ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System Standard; It is a standard that minimizes the damage caused to the environment by industrial organizations due to their activities, and helps them to gain financial benefits by reducing their raw material and energy consumption.
In which an organization carries out its activities; The environment, which includes air, water, soil, natural resources, plant community (flora), animal community (fauna) and humans, and the relationship between it is called the "environment". It is an undeniable fact that this environment in which people live and live together is gradually disappearing as a result of developing technology and industry. Environmental pollution is one of the most important problems threatening human life and quality of life in recent years, due to the increasing world population, the dizzying speed of development and progress of technology, the shrinkage of living spaces, the destruction of the natural environment, noise, faulty practices, lack of information and many other reasons.
ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety System
The expectations of customers and consumers from the organizations from which they receive products and services are gradually increasing. It is no longer enough to just offer quality products or services, but organizations are also expected to fulfill their social responsibilities. These expectations have caused the classical definitions of "quality" to lose their validity; In the definitions, expressions related to occupational health and safety started to appear and the definition was expanded with the addition of social responsibilities. Now, when "quality" is mentioned, it is also questioned to what extent the organizations comply with the legislation on occupational health and safety, whether they create a safe and healthy working environment for the relevant parties, and whether they continuously improve this environment.
Working environments are full of various environmental factors that pose personal health and safety risks, arising from the processes and materials used and produced. Every employee and manager has the main responsibility for the measures to be taken to ensure a healthier and safer life in our workplaces, where we spend an average of one-third of our daily lives. Achieving these humane safe environments can only be achieved by adopting the rules in this regard as a lifestyle.
The inability to create a healthy and safe working environment for employees in all aspects is one of the most important problems of working life today. In many countries, especially in developing and industrialized countries like us, some problems related to occupational health and safety arise, and these problems affect the work efficiency as well as the health of the employees. In both the manufacturing and service sectors, making workplaces healthy and safe for employees is mandated by law. At this point, the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Standard, abbreviated by combining the initials of the phrase Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series, and published by the British Standards Institute (BSI) in 1999, can help to fulfill this obligation, can be examined and It is an internationally accepted standard.
ISO 27001 Information Security Management System
Information, like other important business assets, is an asset that has value to a business and therefore must be appropriately protected.
Information security protects information from broad dangers and threats to ensure business continuity, minimize business losses, and maximize return on business opportunities and investments. Information can be found in many forms. It may be written and printed on paper, stored electronically, sent by post or electronic means, shown in films, or expressed orally in conversation.
ISO/IEC 27001 certification helps you manage and protect your valuable information assets.
Whatever form information takes, or whatever means it is shared or collected, it must always be appropriately protected. Information security is defined as the protection of the following items:
SECURITY:
To guarantee that the information is accessible only to those who have been authorized to access it;
INTEGRITY:
To ensure the accuracy and integrity of information and processing methods;
CONVENIENCE:
To ensure that authorized users have access to information and associated resources when needed.
Information security is ensured through performing a set of appropriate controls such as policies, practices, methods, organizational structures, and software functions. These controls should be established to ensure that the specific security objectives of the business are met.
ISO 50001 Energy Management System
ISO 50001 is the new international energy management system (Energy Management System – EnMS). It is the first global EnMS after a set of national or regional standards such as EN 16001. ISO 50001 EnMS is built on the management system model already understood and implemented by organizations around the world. Deming's “Plan-Do-Check-Act” cycle supports the standard, as do ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and other management system standards.
ISO predicts that this standard could affect 60% of the world's energy use.
It provides benefits for public institutions and all medium and small-sized companies, including the manufacturing and service sectors. This benefit, unlike other standards, is seen as an obvious financial return. In addition, the returns in the Energy Management system are faster than other standards.
ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
-
Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
-
Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
-
Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
-
Measure the results
-
Review how well the policy works, and
-
Continually improve energy management.
ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System
The production and supply of healthy and safe foods is the most basic and indispensable element of a healthy diet. For this purpose, various control methods and approaches have been developed by various groups, academics and official authorities, including manufacturers, processors, carriers, wholesale and retail sales organizations. It is seen that the measures taken for the realization of safe food production in the old approaches are generally evaluated on the basis of the controls on the end product. Control applications made in the final products show the errors and hazards present in the final product.
Today, for safe food production, starting from the production of raw materials, additives, auxiliary materials and packaging materials, the necessity of an approach that keeps the selection and evaluation of suppliers, their acceptance into the business, production stages, including final storage and shipment, has emerged. HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) System is one of these approaches. Relevant official bodies and national standards organizations of various countries have made important regulations for the HACCP System and published standards. Despite the fact that the emergence of the HACCP concept has a history of more than 30 years and the concept has international validity, a common and comprehensive standard that will be accepted worldwide for the HACCP System has not been established during this time.
In international markets, the fact that almost every country has a food safety standard and the difficulty and reluctance of other countries to adapt to each other has revealed the need to prepare and publish an international standard on this subject. For this purpose, TC 34, one of the working groups within the International Standards Organization (ISO), started to prepare the ISO 22000 Standard, and the relevant standard was adopted as an international standard in 2018 with the name "ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management Systems - Requirements for All Organizations in the Food Chain". Published on.
ISO 10002 Customer Satisfaction Man. System
The widespread trade in today's business world, the increase in the number of organizations in the same sector, and accordingly the increase and change in customer expectations have made the business of businesses more difficult and made the concept of customer even more important. It is possible for businesses to ensure their continuity, to stand in their sector, to create brands, to protect their brand values, to increase their brand value, and to achieve these goals by keeping their existing customers and acquiring new customers, and this is through absolute customer satisfaction.
We can define customer satisfaction as the benefit that customers receive from goods and services in return for their expectations. ISO 10002 Customer Satisfaction Management System is a management approach that enables the company to establish and develop more profitable and long-term relationships with its potential customers. This standard primarily envisages fulfilling management commitments related to creating a customer-focused environment that is open to feedback (including complaints), resolving each complaint received, and improving customer service.
ISO 13485 Medical Devices Quality Man. System
The ISO 13485 Standard is a parallel standard with the ISO 9001 Standard and has been prepared on the basis of the ISO 9001 Standard. It is the version of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard adapted to medical devices and developed in this field. It is an international standard that contains special requirements for medical devices. ISO 13485 is one of the most important arguments that medical device manufacturers can use when going for CE Marking.
It is a system that companies must establish if the production quality assurance module is selected within the scope of CE Marking. It basically includes the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, but it has become a standard for medical device manufacturers, especially with additional requests at the design stage and special requirements for sterile medical devices.
Based on the ISO 9001 process approach model, this standard covers more comprehensive and specific quality system requirements than ISO 9001, which organizations must comply with to provide medical devices and related services, and to demonstrate their ability to consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements applicable to medical devices. .
ISO 13485, which is a standard that defines the specific conditions that quality systems must meet for organizations operating in the field of trade and manufacture of medical devices, can be applied by all organizations that include the project, production, installation and supply phases of medical devices or services related to them.
ISO 18513 Tourism Services Management System
Although the International Standards Organization (ISO) puts forward the ISO 9001 Quality Management System Standard, which covers all institutions and organizations in order for businesses to provide systematic management, it also publishes sectoral standards and offers them to the service of businesses where this standard cannot meet all the requirements in the sector. One of these standards is ISO 18513 Tourism Services Management System.
The ISO 18513 standard is the only internationally valid management system standard published by ISO in the field of tourism. Especially considering the multinational customer base of tourism businesses, businesses that implement this management system have a serious competitive advantage.
The emergence of this standard corresponds to a process that can be considered quite long. On the basis of it, there is the need for tourism activities to become one of the most important social, cultural and economic events, and the need to compare a service standard in this field and businesses in terms of quality on the international platform.
The main feature of the management system standards prepared by ISO is that they have common articles with each other and therefore they can be established and applied in an integrated manner. In this direction, ISO 18513 Tourism Services Management System is used by integrating on ISO 9001 Quality Management System, just like other additional modules.

CE Marking
The Conformitè Europëenne (CE) Mark is defined as the European Union’s (EU) mandatory conformity marking for regulating the goods sold within the European Economic Area (EEA) since 1985. The CE marking represents a manufacturer’s declaration that products comply with the EU’s New Approach Directives. These directives not only apply to products within the EU but also for products that are manufactured in or designed to be sold in the EEA. This makes the CE marking recognizable worldwide even to those unfamiliar with the EEA.
CE Marking is not a quality mark. It means the product on which it has been affixed meets all the requirements of the related directive and appears so as to ensure free movement of goods among the Member States of the EU.
